FIFA chief Infantino calls Qatar World Cup the best in history

President of the International Football Federation (FIFA) Gianni Infantino called the World Cup in Qatar the best in history. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
Qatar became the first Arab and Muslim country to receive the right to host the World Cup. The final of the tournament Argentina - France will be held on December 18 at the stadium "Lusail Ikonik".
Prior to this, Infantino believed that the best world championship in history was the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
“Our unanimous position is gratitude to everyone for their solid work. It was the best World Cup in history. I would like to separately praise the female judges (Stephanie Frappart) and the Moroccan team for reaching the semi-finals,” Infantino told reporters.
“Fifa's revenue for this World Cup is $7.5 billion. This is 1 billion more than four years ago (in Russia). 3.27 million spectators attended the matches of the 2022 World Cup, in Russia there were 3.03 million. Most fans came to the tournament from Saudi Arabia, India, USA, UK and Mexico,” Infantino added.
