The mechanism for the supply of Turkmen gas to Europe through Turkey to be worked out within a month

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that he instructed to work out a mechanism for supplying Turkmen gas to Europe through Turkey within a month. According to him, Ankara intends to discuss the issue with the EU. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
Earlier, Erdogan called for the start of the process of supplying Turkmen gas to Europe through Turkey.
“We have reached a decision under which the energy ministers of the three countries - Turkey, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan - will come together and discuss the details of this issue in detail. I instructed our Minister of Energy: “Within a month you will finally resolve this issue by meeting with your colleague in Azerbaijan and your colleague in Turkmenistan,” he said.
“After they resolve this issue, we will hold our meetings. At the beginning of 2023, the President of Turkmenistan, I hope, will pay an official visit to us. We hope that there we will finally resolve this issue. At the same time, we will discuss these issues with the President of Azerbaijan. We will quickly take this step and hopefully make the process easier. After that, we will discuss issues with the EU,” Erdogan told reporters on the plane after returning from Turkmenistan.
