Toy art at the New Year's Eve exhibition in Ashgabat: it's just that children have grown older
The exhibition of handmade dolls and toys will be held on New Year's Eve in Ashgabat. Last year, this kind of exhibition was organized for the first time at the same time and was a great success, which gave rise to the decision to make such New Year's Eve shows a tradition.
The exposition will present two directions of this type of creativity: national and modern dolls and toys. The best masters will take part in the exhibition. They always closely follow trends, actively using innovations and developing in the author's design, so that their works are relevant, attractive and desirable for a demanding audience.
In the collection of the new exhibition, you can see fabric dolls of different types and styles - "from folk to jazz", original works in mixed techniques, Turkmen room boxes (miniature houses with interiors). There will be vintage dolls that have been given a chance to have a second life, and souvenir figurines, and soft sculptures. Thanks to these characteristic and charming characters, you can immerse yourself in old fairy tales or plunge into the atmosphere of modern cartoons.
There will also be wonderful decorations for the Christmas tree, made and painted by hand. Only for two days it will be possible to admire this amazing collection of "works" on a toy theme – on December 24 and 25 in the exhibition hall of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan.
