The head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, showed a photo of his four-legged friend, Alabai, originally from Turkmenistan. The corresponding publication appeared in his Telegram channel.

“I haven’t posted a photo of Akdus for a long time,” the head of the region said. Minnikhanov admitted that he does not often walk his dog due to much daily work.

In the comments under the post, residents of Tatarstan noted the beauty of the four-legged friend. Some users added that Akdus's look shows that he understands the busyness of the owner, so he looks a little sad.

A white alabai puppy was presented to Minnikhanova in May 2021 by Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov-the then President of Turkmenistan, and now the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Turkmen Parliament.

The head of Tatarstan named the new pet Akdus, which translates from Tatar as "white friend.
