Serdar Berdimuhamedov was awarded the distinction “Türkmenistanyň ussat Diplomaty”
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was awarded the badge of distinction "Türkmenistanyň ussat diplomaty" (Great Diplomat of Turkmenistan). The presentation ceremony, held on Friday, was attended by the heads of both houses of Parliament, members of the government, heads of military and law enforcement agencies.
The Turkmen leader was awarded the Badge of merit for services to the development of the national diplomatic service by the resolution of the Mejlis, which noted the President's great personal contribution to strengthening the independence, neutrality and international authority of Turkmenistan.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov said that he perceives this award as a high assessment of joint cohesive activity for the prosperity of the Motherland of the neutral Fatherland.
According to the decree of the President of Turkmenistan, the badge of distinction "Türkmenistanyň ussat diplomaty" was awarded to Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov for many years of conscientious and exemplary work in the system of the domestic diplomatic service.
