Turkmen company starts construction of a school in Tajikistan


Turkmenistan is starting construction of a complex of buildings of a secondary school in the Khatlon region of Tajikistan.
According to a decree signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on Friday, the school, commissioned by the Turkmen embassy in Dushanbe, will be built by the economic company “Dovlet Gurlushik”, which won the tender for this project.
A comprehensive school for 540 places will be built in the “Ergesh Sultanov” rural community of the Dusti district, where the Turkmen diaspora lives. The school will be named after the Turkmen poet Makhtmukuli. The construction of its buildings starts this month, and is scheduled to be completed in December 2024.
The same company - "Dovlet Gurlushik" - will build a residential building for 12 apartments for employees of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Tashkent in the same time frame, on a land plot allocated in accordance with the Agreement between the governments of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
