Trading on SCRMET: jet fuel and cotton yarn were in demand
On Friday, December 9, 3 deals totaling $3.7 million and 262.5 thousand Turkmen manats were made at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, ORIENT correspondent reports.
An entrepreneur from Uzbekistan purchased 4.8 thousand tons of TC-1 aviation kerosene during the auction, offering $771 for each ton of product. The total amount of the transaction exceeded $3.7 million.
A businessman from Ireland purchased 12.6 thousand kg of cotton yarn worth over $27 thousand 8.4 thousand kg during the auction. A representative of Kazakhstan also purchased this product for manat funds, signing a contract for 262.5 thousand TMT.
