“We see significant opportunities for the development of the eastern route of this corridor with the subsequent exit from the territory of Turkmenistan to the territory of Iran and India,” the press service of the Russian government quotes Alexei Overchuk, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. “We are ready to use the Russian seaports of the Caspian Sea and Turkmenbashi on a wide range of issues.”

He also noted that the topic of creating a union of special economic zones of the Caspian states in the development of the agreements reached at the VI Caspian Summit of Heads of State and at the II Caspian Economic Forum deserves special attention.
