Russia and Turkmenistan to cooperate in the development of transportation along the ITC "North-South"
Russian Railways and Turkmen Railways will cooperate in the development of transportation along the international transport corridor (ITC) "North-South" and in the construction of infrastructure. About this, with reference to the message of the Russian company, the agency of economic information Prime reports.
The cooperation development program for 2023-2025 was signed by the head of the Russian Railways, Oleg Belozerov, and chairman of the Turkmendemirellary Agency (Turkmen Railways), Azat Atamuradov.
“The document provides for cooperation in the following areas: the development of transportation and logistics services, including the organization of a regular container service along the eastern route of the North-South international transport corridor and a block train that ensures the minimum delivery time for agricultural products, raw materials and industrial goods between Turkmenistan and Russia ; construction, modernization and reconstruction of infrastructure," Russian Railways said in a message on its Telegram channel.
