Students from 15 countries of the world participated in the Ashgabat International Student Internet Olympiad in Ecology


The first Open International Student Internet Olympiad in Ecology was held in Ashgabat. The Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov. The same university acted as the organizer of the competition, which was held online.

The competition was held online. The geography of participants is extensive - 15 countries of the world: Azerbaijan, Belarus, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Russia, Romania, Uzbekistan, Japan, etc. Almost 150 foreign contestants from 40 higher educational institutions of these countries.
Turkmenistan was represented by more than a hundred best students from 24 universities of the country. Projects and knowledge were evaluated by an international jury team. More than 90 students became the winners of the Olympiad, and 16 of the most successful of them took first places.

Among the winners are Turkmen students from the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov, Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli, Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan named after Oguzhan and the Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan.

Among the winners of the first places are also students of Russian universities, the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy, the National University of Tenaga (Malaysia), two state universities of Hungary and the Ushak State University of Turkey.
77 students more took the second and third places.
