The American company Climate Compass has expressed interest in cooperation with Turkmenistan in the field of leak detection and reduction of natural gas losses. The possibility of cooperation in this drug supply was discussed at the Turkmen-American business forum, ORIENT correspondent reports.
The company's activities are aimed at rapid and effective reduction of methane emissions from gas production, transmission and distribution systems, while preserving valuable goods.
Climate Compass specialists not only eliminate leaks and prevent the possibility of new ones, but also train employees of local companies to find leaks and repair them based on UN standards.
Climate Compass is a world leader in financing, developing and implementing measures to quantify and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in production systems. The company has already signed memorandums of cooperation with countries in Asia such as Bangladesh and Uzbekistan.
