The main Christmas tree of the country began to be decorated in Ashgabat
Ashgabat began to be decorated for the New Year. Light decorative structures "grow" on the streets, in parks and squares, and the main Christmas tree of Turkmenistan is traditionally installed on the square in front of the capital's cultural and entertainment center "Alem". Already on December 15, the green beauty, elegant and decorated, will appear before Ashgabat residents and guests of the capital. On this day, festive lights will be lit on it and the start of New Year's events will be given.
All this will begin in a few days, and now the city services are in full swing working on the installation of a New Year's tree structure. This year, her height, together with the adorning star on the top of her head, will be 42 meters. In diameter – 16 meters. Last year's spruce was 38.5 meters high.
This year, the Turkmen Christmas tree has all the prerequisites to become the tallest among the Christmas trees of the capitals of the Commonwealth countries, as in previous years, when it occupied the first place in the CIS.
This year, the green beauty will be decorated with snow bunnies, figurines of fairy tale heroes, Christmas tree toys, as well as thousands of meters of sparkling garlands. A fairy–tale town of illuminations will appear around the main Christmas tree and everything will shine in the iridescence of colorful lights - beautiful photo zones, playgrounds and recreation areas, where citizens and guests of the capital will soon gather.
