The world's first ATM for the sale of gold coins has been launched in India


The world's first ATM that allows you to buy gold coins with money from credit or debit plastic cards has started serving customers in the Indian city of Hyderabad. About this, with reference to the information of the Goldsikka company on Twitter, RIA Novosti reports.
"We are proud to announce that we have successfully launched the Golden ATM! We hope that thanks to this achievement, India will once again become a bird with golden feathers," the text of the release says.
It is noted that coins weighing from 0.5 to 100 grams can be obtained from the machine. The company clarified that the feature of the ATM is that the price of gold on its screen is updated in real time in accordance with changes in quotations for this precious metal on the London Stock Exchange.
"We plan to install the next four vending machines in Hyderabad, including at the airport. Then we will cover the whole country, and then the whole world," said Hrithik Mitra, Vice President of Goldikka.
He added that the "golden" ATMs have an equipped camera and a security system with an audible alarm and direct communication with the police.
The private Indian company Goldsikka plans to install three thousand such ATMs in India and enter the world market with its products.
