Uzbekistan has increased the export of mobile phones: the leader in purchases is Russia


In January-October 2022, Uzbekistan increased the export of mobile phones by 1.7 times - up to 25 thousand units, Russia's share in these deliveries is almost 70%, the state statistics committee of the republic reports.
“In January-October 2022, Uzbekistan exported 25,029 mobile phones worth $5 million,” the State Statistics Committee said in a message on its Telegram channel.
According to the statistics agency, among the countries importing mobile phones from Uzbekistan, Russia occupies the first place - 16.8 thousand units, or 67% of all exports from the republic. The top three buyers of mobile phones assembled in Uzbekistan also included Ukraine (5.3 thousand units) and Kazakhstan (2.9 thousand).
In Uzbekistan, the assembly of mobile phones was first launched in 2012.
