Dior held a fashion show at the Egyptian pyramids

The French haute couture house Christian Dior held the first ever show on the plateau near the pyramids of Giza in Egypt, the Ministry of Tourism of the country reported.
Dior has demonstrated a collection of men's clothing for the autumn-winter 2023 season.
"This is the first Dior show in Egypt and the first time in history when a fashion show took place at the pyramids in Giza," the press release says.
Saturday's show was the second this year by a European fashion house that used monuments of ancient Egyptian heritage as a backdrop. In October, the collection of Italian designer Stefano Ricci was shown at the temple of Hatshepsut in Luxor in southern Egypt.
