The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the CADAP regional dialogue


The Turkmen delegation took part in the regional dialogue of the Drug Prevention Program in Central Asia (CADAP) between employees of state institutions and representatives of civil society in Almaty, the EU Representative Office in Turkmenistan told ORIENT.
Specialists from the Ministries of Education, Health and Medical Industry, the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, as well as the Yenme public organization, together with colleagues from the region, discussed strengthening cooperation and exchanged experience in the field of drug use prevention, reviewed European practice in this area.
The participants also reviewed the experience of strengthening the role of civil society in the prevention and control of drug use, the creation of mechanisms for cooperation between government agencies and civil society.
CADAP is an initiative of the European Union to promote the development of an effective drug demand reduction policy in Central Asia. The 7th phase of the Program is being implemented now.
