Turkmen medical workers master the best world experience in the field of early child development

The Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and Ankara University conducted a series of trainings on early child development for Turkmen specialists.
The course is organized within the framework of a multi—year professional development program for medical workers of Turkmenistan in this field - family doctors and nurses.
Since the launch of the program in 2015, more than 1,400 healthcare professionals have been trained in monitoring child development, and a special early childhood development cabinet with trained staff has been created in each district of the country.
Early development services provide for the identification at the first stages of a child's life of physical or mental characteristics that may further hinder the successful development of educational programs and harmonious maturation. These services also provide special care for the child, which can help him overcome natural limitations.
