The CIS approved the procedure for the direction of car traffic for 2023
The Council for Railway Transport of the CIS member States has approved a Plan for the organization of freight trains and the procedure for directing car traffic in international traffic for 2022-2023. The document was adopted at the 77th meeting of the Council for Railway Transport of the CIS member states, which was held in an online format.
The members of the Council also determined the volume of freight traffic at interstate junction points, compiled a list of international specialized trains for the transportation of goods in universal rolling stock.
At the same time, the issues of improving the organization of the transportation process, efficient use of rolling stock, as well as the development of the passenger complex in international traffic were discussed during the meeting.
It should be noted that this year the Council celebrates the 30th anniversary of its foundation. Railway transport plays an important role in the development of integration economic processes in the Commonwealth.
