President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on the national holiday of the UAE - the Day of Proclamation of the state, TDH reports.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished the country's administration good health, happiness and wellbeing, and peace, further progress and prosperity to the fraternal people.
Taking the opportunity, the President of Turkmenistan stressed that he remembers his recent visit to the UAE with great warmth, and also that the signed solid package of documents will give impetus to bilateral cooperation.
The Day of the proclamation of the UAE state is celebrated annually for two days, starting from December 2. All buildings are decorated in the color of the flag, and concerts, cultural and entertainment events are held throughout the state.
On December 2, 1971, the rulers of all 7 Emirates signed an agreement on the creation of a single state — the United Arab Emirates.
