Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea have signed a Memorandum on parliamentary cooperation

Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is on a visit to Seoul, and Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Kim Jin Phe have signed a Memorandum of cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries, TDH reports.

The sides noted the great potential for further development of cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two countries, as well as the exchange of experience through the organization of joint events.

During the talks, Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov and Kim Jin Pyo discussed in detail economic cooperation between the countries, including cooperation in the field of investments, the implementation of energy projects, Korean media write.

Among the issues raised at the meeting were the use of Korean technologies in the desalination of seawater and the construction of Ashgabat City, as well as the supply of passenger buses manufactured in the Republic of Korea to Turkmen cities.
