The CIS wants to establish electronic interaction in the field of mutual legal assistance
The issue of establishing cooperation in the field of mutual legal assistance was discussed at a joint meeting of representatives of the judicial authorities and consular services of the CIS member states, the website of the executive committee of the organization reports.
The meeting was held as part of the consideration of the minutes of the meeting of the Advisory Council of Heads of Consular Services of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the CIS member states, which took place on June 7, 2022.
Digitalization of cooperation in the field of legal assistance will make it possible to effectively implement the provisions of the Convention on Legal Assistance and Legal Relations in Civil, Family and Criminal Cases.
