Turkmenistan and Turkey are two fraternal countries that stand for peace and justice in the settlement of international conflicts, which has earned the respect of the world community.

This was stated by the chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Shentop, speaking in the Parliament of Turkmenistan, the Anadolu news agency reports.

In his address, Shentop drew attention to the historical and cultural ties linking the two fraternal peoples, which "forms a powerful foundation for a common future."

"One of the important moments in the history of bilateral relations", the head of the Turkish parliament called the opening of the Turkish Embassy in Ashgabat, which has been operating for 30 years.
