As part of the official visit of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the United Arab Emirates, a package of bilateral documents was signed between the countries, TDH reports.

The new agreements are aimed at strengthening cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UAE in the field of economy, investment, agriculture, education, as well as through foreign ministries.

During the talks between Turkmen leader Serdar Berdimuhamedov and UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in an expanded format, priority areas of the Turkmen-Emirati partnership were specified.

The sides expressed their readiness to intensify productive trade and economic cooperation, business ties, as well as traditional cultural and humanitarian contacts.

During the one-on-one meeting, the heads of state exchanged views on a number of topical issues on the regional and global agenda, and also discussed the implementation of the agreements reached during the visit.
