The upper House of the Turkmen Parliament has approved a number of law projects
The upper house of the Turkmen parliament unanimously approved a number of bills submitted for discussion during the eighth session of the first convocation, TDH reports.
The parliamentarians voted for the laws previously adopted by the lower house — the Mejlis, including the laws of Turkmenistan on:
– notary and notarial activities,
– circus and circus art,
– local government,
– accession to the Additional Protocol to the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road concerning Electronic Reporting,
– accession to the Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications Related to Higher Education in the European Region.
Also during the meeting, documents on improving the current legislation were considered, including the laws "On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of Turkmenistan", "On amendments to the Law of Turkmenistan "On Military duty and military Service", "On amendments and additions to the Law of Turkmenistan "On Defense", "On amendments and additions to the Tax Code of Turkmenistan".
The approved legislative acts have been consolidated in the relevant resolutions.
