Turkey is ready to supply Turkmen gas to Europe in transit — Head of the Turkish Parliament

Chairman of the Turkish parliament Mustafa Shentop confirmed Turkey's readiness for the transit of Turkmen gas to Europe, TDH reports following talks between the head of the upper house of the Turkmen parliament Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and his Turkish counterpart.

Shentop, in a conversation with the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, focused on the successful cooperation between the two countries in the trade and economic sphere, noting the role of previously reached agreements.

The visit of Turkish Vice-President Fuat Oktay to Turkmenistan in July this year also played an important role in the positive dynamics of mutually beneficial economic partnership.
