USAID has announced a vacancy for a Regional Trade Facilitation Advisor


USAID, together with DAI, within the framework of the TCA (Trade in Central Asia) initiative, announced a vacancy for a Regional Trade Facilitation Advisor.
The duties of the employee will include such tasks as the development and implementation of an annual work plan, consultations with USAID and national partners, preparation of events, presentations, trainings, and reports on the work performed, as well as working trips to Central Asian countries.
Requirements for the candidate:
– 10 or more years of experience in the field of trade facilitation management for donor-funded projects in the countries of the former USSR (especially Central Asia),
– awareness of the problems of the trade and private sector in the countries of the former USSR and the development and implementation of programs aimed at addressing these problems,
– demonstrated experience meeting result targets under deadlines,
– demonstrated experience managing a staff, work plan and budget,
– awareness of the process of developing public policy in Central Asia,
– fluency in Russian and English both verbal and written.
