The visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the UAE will take place on November 21-22
The official visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the United Arab Emirates is scheduled for November 21-22. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov reported on the preparation of the working program of this visit at a meeting of the Turkmen government on Friday.
Following the results of the Turkmen-Arab summit talks and at the interdepartmental levels, the adoption of bilateral agreements is expected.
The UAE is a long-standing and major trade and economic partner of Turkmenistan. The parties are aimed at expanding export-import turnover and investment cooperation, which has promising projects in the gas chemical, financial, transport and energy sectors in its portfolio.
The UAE business community is showing great interest in the TAPI energy pipeline project, projects in the field of natural gas processing, logistics, renewable energy sources, ecology and food security.
Among the projects being implemented with the financial participation of the UAE are the construction of an international airport in the Turkmen Primorye, the town of Jebel, a solar-wind power plant for a socio-industrial complex in the area of the Turkmen lake "Altyn Asyr".
