This is reported by the official website of the Turkmen customs following the results of the videoconference negotiations.

As part of the discussions, a project on digitalization of international road transport procedures was presented, being implemented on the initiative of the German Ministry of Economy for the period up to December 2023.

Representatives of the Turkmen customs shared information on the current status of the TIR-EPD system, which allows carriers to declare goods and vehicles bypassing the services of customs brokers during transit through Turkmenistan.
