Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will take part in the summit of the Organization of Turkic States
Chairman of the upper house of the Turkmen Parliament Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will take part in the Summit of the leaders of the Organization of Turkic States, according to theofficial press release published by the OTS Secretariat.
Turkmenistan and Hungary, which are observer countries in the organization, will discuss key issues of multilateral cooperation in various fields with the permanent members of the OTS, as well as exchange views on political and economic developments in the world.
At the end of the Summit, the chairmanship of the organization will be transferred from the Turkish Republic to Uzbekistan.
Earlier in September, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that Turkmenistan would become a full member of the organization at the summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Samarkand.
