President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to control the supply of goods to the trade network and prevent price rises with the onset of the winter period and before the holidays.

The instruction was given at a meeting of the Turkmen government on Friday to Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Atdaev, after he reported on the indicators of the trade complex, the textile industry and entrepreneurship for January-October 2022.

In particular, in the textile sector, enterprises producing cotton fabrics (130.3%) and yarn (126.6%) showed a significant production growth rate. Manufacturers of clothing, knitwear, carpet and leather products arrived not so significantly, but noticeably.

In the business segment, a good increase is demonstrated by the production of agricultural and food products - by 72.5% more than last year. A good indicator is also shown by enterprises producing industrial goods (+9.9%).

At the same time, the head of state said that it is necessary to further increase the production of domestic products.
