Turkmenistan has allowed transport to pass through some border checkpoints

Foreign and domestic vehicles that meet the stated requirements will be able to enter and leave, as well as transit through the territory of Turkmenistan from November 7 of this year, using some border checkpoints of the country, according to the website of the Turkmenawtoulaglary agency.

Passage is allowed through the following checkpoints: "Artyk", "Sarahs", "Garabogaz", "Altyn asyr", "Dashoguz", "Kunyaurgench", "Farap", "Ymamnazar" and "Serhetabat", as well as through the Turkmenbashi International Seaport.

Previously, travel through border checkpoints was restricted due to measures aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19.
