Chairman of the upper house of the Turkmen Parliament Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov discussed bilateral cooperation within the framework of joint projects and productive inter-parliamentary cooperation with Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani during a telephone conversation, TDH reports.
It was about the implementation of energy and communication projects, such as the construction of the TAPI gas pipeline and the laying of a high-voltage power transmission line and fiber-optic communication along the Turkmenistan—Afghanistan—Pakistan route.
The sides also noted the relevance of inter-parliamentary cooperation and the exchange of experience in the field of lawmaking, the organization of regular meetings and consultations of parliamentarians of the two countries.
