OGT-2022 exhibition has opened new horizons for cooperation in the oil and gas sector

This year, the international exhibition of the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan OGT-2022 especially impressed the guests, both with the scale and the use of new technical means. It also looks really bright against the background of the fact that for several years such major events have been held, if at all, then only in a hybrid format or completely online.

Representatives of large profile companies, apparently, really missed live human communication, and therefore almost every stand at the show is equipped with a separate meeting room where you can discuss accumulated issues and expand horizons for cooperation.

The stands of the state concerns "Turkmengaz" and "Turkmennebit" were the first to meet the guests of the forum at the entrance, offering to get acquainted with the objects of their infrastructure through virtual reality in VR helmets. Each guest could use the technology, and for a while find himself on the territory of a processing enterprise operating in Turkmenistan or a deposit of natural resources, for example, Galkynysh.

Traditionally, the exhibition is attended by key partners of Turkmenistan in the oil and gas sector, including such companies as CNPC, Dragon oil, Socar, PETRONAS, Tatneft, etc.
Following the task of diversifying the national economy, Turkmen industry concerns continue to deepen cooperation with international partners, especially in the field of digitalization, deep purification of oil and gas, as well as their processing into products with high added value.

The increase in the number of new foreign companies showing interest in the oil and gas market of Turkmenistan is also noticeable at the exhibition. Thus, a large stand was reserved for companies of the Chelyabinsk region of Russia, where the leading oil and gas enterprises of the region were represented.
It is also worth noting the increase in the number of Turkmen companies whose activities are related to the development of the oil and gas industry, the provision of various services for the fuel and energy sector. They are engaged, for example, in the development and implementation of special software, tailoring of workwear for oil workers, maintenance, etc.

The high level of organization and the great interest of major international and national oil and gas companies made OGT-2022 an actual and inspiring event for the development of the industry.
