The State Customs Service of Turkmenistan has integrated the TIR-EPD information system of the International Road Transport Union with the internal automated customs data system "ASYCUDA World", the official website of the service reports.

Integration will speed up trade turnover and increase the transport and transit potential of the country by obtaining preliminary electronic information about goods transported by foreign cargo carriers.

This system will contribute to a more rapid and visual digital representation of the transported goods and will establish effective price monitoring.

The implementation of the system is being done within the framework of the "Customs Convention on the International Carriage of Goods using a TIR Carnet (1975)".\
