Turkmen university joins the Initiative for Sustainable Development in the field of education
The International University for the Humanities and Development has joined the global Initiative for sustainable development in higher education, operating in partnership with a number of key UN structures, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper writes today.
Uniting more than 540 universities and research organizations around the world, the project aims to ensure close cooperation between educational institutions of different countries and the UN in the context of using their innovative scientific and intellectual potential in the implementation of global tasks.
The initiative provides universities with a unique platform for cooperation in order to study and exchange best practices, get acquainted with research works that contribute to the formation of a unified global culture of intellectual responsibility.
IUHD became the first university of Turkmenistan accepted into membership of this prestigious global initiative, which reflected the successful international activities of the university, including the conduct of relevant scientific research, which is covered in authoritative specialized publications indexed by international databases.
