The head of the political office of the Islamic Emirate ofAfghanistan in Qatar, Suhail Shaheen, supported thecreation of an international group to address issues related toAfghanistan, TOLO news reports.

According to Shaheen, the creation of an international groupshould intensify Afghanistan's dialogue with the outsideworld and further help the Afghan people get rid of thesanctions burden.

This proposal was put forward on Thursday by the Presidentof Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the VI Summit of theConference on Interaction and Confidence-buildingMeasures in Asia (CICA) in Astana.

"This proposal is appropriate, because this kind of thing willprovide links between Afghanistan and the world," TOLOnews quotes the opinion of political analyst Shira HassanHassan.

Earlier, within the framework of the meetings of the CICA,which is transforming into a full-fledged organization inwhich Turkmenistan has observer status, Russia, Pakistan,Uzbekistan and Iran touched upon the topic of restoringpeaceful life in Afghanistan.
