Preparations for the First Russia-Central Asia Summit Discussed in St. Petersburg

At the informal CIS summit, which brought together the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan on Friday in St. Petersburg, the preparations for the first Russia-Central Asia summit were discussed.
It will be held next week in Astana and will be the first in history.
The 5 + 1 format has recently become very popular, when the five Central Asian states are one side of the dialogue with the region, which is now increasingly focused on the geopolitical focus of many states. Such platforms have already been created with the USA, China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, India, etc.
