Turkmenistan and Cambodia discuss prospects for expanding cooperation
Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Cambodia discussed prospects for expanding bilateral relations during the visit of a Turkmen delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister Berdyniyaz Myatiev to Phnom Penh to participate in the 41st meeting of the General Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia, the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
The parties considered the possibility of cooperation between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry and business circles of the two countries, as well as in the field of culture and social and humanitarian areas, noting the need to expand the legal framework of bilateral contacts.
At the General Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia, issues related to the development of cooperation between Asian countries in the sports sphere were studied and prospects for organizing major sports events in Turkmenistan were discussed.
