Vladimir Putin congratulates Serdar Berdimuhamedov on his birthday


Today a telephone conversation of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took place.
During the conversation, Vladimir Putin warmly congratulated Serdar Berdimuhamedov on his birthday, wishing him good health, happiness and success.
Also, the leaders of the two countries confirmed their mutual intention to comprehensively strengthen the Turkmen-Russian relations and expand the strategic partnership.
Shortly before calling his Turkmen counterpart, the head of the Russian Federation sent Serdar Berdimuhamedov a congratulatory telegram with the following content:
“Dear Serdar Gurbangulyevich,
Please accept my heartfelt congratulations on your birthday.
I warmly recall our recent meetings in Moscow and Ashgabat, constructive and meaningful negotiations. The Declaration on Deepening the Strategic Partnership between Russia and Turkmenistan, signed in June, undoubtedly creates conditions for a qualitative build-up of mutually beneficial bilateral ties in various areas.
I will be glad to continue the dialogue with you and work closely together for the benefit of our friendly peoples, in the interests of strengthening peace, security and stability in Central Asia and the Caspian region.
