During the talks in Ashgabat on Tuesday, they touched upon the topic of expanding trade and economic relations and concretized its energy aspects, it was reported in the evening news release of the Turkmen State Television.

It was about the promotion of the TAPI gas pipeline project (Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India), on which all parties are now working hard. An exchange of views took place on the laying of power transmission lines and fiber-optic communication TAP (Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan). As noted, these projects will make a great contribution to the development of the region and international relations in its space.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan, as a country with large energy resources, is ready to diversify their export supplies in order to support sustainable development in the region and on the planet by implementing large-scale regional projects in this area.
