Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States assessed the prospects for dialogue
On Monday, Turkmen leader Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Baghdad Amreev, who during the conversation confirmed the interest of the structure headed by him in developing a productive dialogue with Turkmenistan.
In response, the President stressed the effectiveness of interaction with the OTS, which Turkmenistan joined in the status of an observer in November last year.
Speaking about ways for further cooperation, the interlocutors identified as promising the projects in the trade, economic, fuel and energy, transport and communications, infrastructure and investment sectors.
The issues of humanitarian partnership, which is basic for all Turkic-speaking peoples on the basis of common spiritual values and heritage of material culture, were not left without attention.
Particular emphasis during the meeting was placed on topical issues that will be discussed at the OTS summit, which is scheduled for November 2022.
Concluding the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Baghdad Amreyev testified to the confidence in the productive interaction of the parties.
