On the sidelines of the ministerial transport conference of landlocked countries in Avaza, Turkmenistan signed documents on cooperation with a number of foreign partners in order to develop transport cooperation.

Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Mammetkhan Chakiev and Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Vitaly Savelyev signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the headed structures on the development of international road transport.

The governments of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Moldova signed an agreement on international road transport. From Moldova, the signature was put by Deputy Prime Minister of the country, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Andrei Spinu.

Chairman of the Agency of Sea and River Routes of Turkmenistan Annadurdy Kosyaev and Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Alexander Khvtisiashvili signed a memorandum of understanding between the maritime transport agencies of the two countries.
