International conference and exhibition "Oil and gas of Turkmenistan-2022" to be held at the end of October
The 28th International Conference and Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2022" (OGT-2022) will be held in Ashgabat on October 26-27. The prestigious forum will be organized by the state concern "Turkmengas", "Turkmenneft" and the state corporation "Turkmengeology" in partnership with the BC "Turkmen Forum".
The forum organized with the support of the British Company GaffneyCline, is designed to strengthen international partnerships and become a platform for discussing key issues of further development of the oil and gas sector in the country and the world.
The international exhibition OGT-2022 at the expo center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan will bring together leading players in the oil and gas market and representatives of Turkmen specialized state institutions and enterprises. It is planned that the exhibition will last three days - from 26 to 28 October.
At the conference, the delegates will exchange views on the implementation of major projects, including the next phases of the development of the super-giant Galkynysh gas field according to the international classification, the construction of the TAPI gas pipeline, attracting investments in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, as well as the prospects for new projects aimed at improving the environmental friendliness of the fuel and energy complex.
The conference will traditionally provide an opportunity to hold bilateral meetings with the leadership of the oil and gas sector of Turkmenistan and the heads of oil and gas companies, major international organizations and financial institutions.
