Turkish Airlines plans to resume direct flights between Ashgabat and Istanbul
The schedule on the Turkish Airlines website indicates that the airline plans to resume direct flights between Ashgabat and Istanbul from September 1 after a two-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Flights are planned to operate daily in both directions.
The first flight from Turkey to Turkmenistan is to take place on September 1. The Airbus A321 aircraft will depart from Istanbul Airport at 20:40 and land in the Turkmen capital at 02:20 on the night of September 1-2. The cost of a ticket in economy class will be 11,114.43 Turkish liras one way.
From Ashgabat to Istanbul, the first aircraft, according to the Turkish Airlines schedule, will depart on September 2 at 03:10 and land at Istanbul Airport at 05:20.
The cost of a one-way economy class ticket will be 445 US dollars.
