The President of Turkmenistan announced the upcoming events
The leadership corps of Turkmenistan has been going on vacation since August 1, however, the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said at a government meeting that a number of significant events were to take place in the country in August.
So, on August 1, a large cottage complex will be opened in Avaza.
And on August 3, Avaza will host a ceremony of honoring the winners of the Silk Road 2022 rally and the Asian Junior and Youth Weightlifting Championship.
On August 5, the President instructed the Speaker of the Parliament Gulshat Mammedova to take part in the opening ceremony of the recreation center for children erected in the Esenguli district of the Balkan region.
And on August 8, as the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said, the laying of a bridge across the Garabogazgol Bay, which will become an important link of the North-South international transport corridor, will take place there, in the Balkan region.
On August 15-16, Avaza will host an international conference at the level of ministers of transport of landlocked developing countries.
Additionally, the Head of the State instructed the Minister of Defense, Secretary of the State Security Council Begench Gundogdiyev and heads of military and law enforcement agencies to ensure high-level the preparation and holding of events dedicated to the next anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence.
