Serdar Berdimuhamedov invited Shavkat Mirziyoyev to pay a return visit to Turkmenistan


President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov invited the head of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to pay a return visit to Turkmenistan at a time convenient for anyone within the framework of negotiations in a narrow format, the press service of the Uzbek leader reports.
The heads of neighboring states noted the huge potential for interregional cooperation, reviewed mutually beneficial novels and emphasized the importance of strengthening the atmosphere of trust and good neighborliness in Central Asia.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the recent state visit is intended to give a new impetus to the strategic partnership between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev called Turkmenistan a reliable and key partner of Uzbekistan in the region. "We are committed to the further development of full–fledged cooperation, we intend to strengthen the relations of a strategic partner with our beloved neighbor in every possible way," the Uzbek leader said.
During the tete-a-tete negotiations, the sides considered the prospects of Turkmen-Uzbek cooperation, paying special attention to the development of trade ties, increased mutual trade, the implementation of industrial cooperation projects, the use of transport and transit opportunities.
