Eid al-Adha: Turkmenistan will have four days of rest

During the extended meeting of the government following the results of the first half of the year, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on the celebration of Eid al-Adha.

By tradition, the holiday in Turkmenistan is celebrated for three days. In 2022, it falls on July 9-11, but since July 10 is Sunday, according to a presidential decree, the day off is moved to Tuesday, July 12.

Thus, the people of Turkmenistan will have a rest and celebrate the holiday for four days. The decree applies to all institutions, enterprises and organizations, regardless of ownership.
