Serdar Berdimuhamedov replaced the Deputy Prime Minister for Science, Education, Health and Sports. Nurmukhammet Amannepesov, who had worked up to that point as Minister of Health and Medical Industry, took the place of Sapardurdy Toylyev.

Documents on personnel changes in the government were signed by the Head of state at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers following the results of the past six months. This was reported in the news release of the Turkmen State Television on Friday evening.

Atageldy Germanov, who previously held the position of deputy head of this department, was appointed Minister of Health and Medical Industry.
