The consultative meeting of the leaders of the five Central Asian states will be held in Kyrgyzstan, in the city of Cholpon-Ata on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul, on July 21, Sputnik Tajikistan reports.

The summit of the heads of State of Central Asia – Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan will be held for the fourth time. The third Consultative Meeting was held in August 2021 in Turkmenistan, in Avaza, on the shore of the Caspian Sea.

Then the heads of state instructed the foreign ministries to finalize the work on the approval of the draft Roadmap for the development of regional cooperation for 2022-2024.

It was also instructed to prepare an Agreement on Friendship, Good–neighborliness and Cooperation for the Development of the region for signing at the next consultative meeting, since, as the leaders of the Central Asian countries noted, the most important thing now is friendship, cooperation and stability in the region.

The first summit of the heads of Central Asian states was held in March 2018 in the capital of Kazakhstan Nur-Sultan, the second — in November 2019 in Tashkent.
