Putin called Turkmenistan a strategic partner of Russia

Talks between the Presidents of Turkmenistan and Russia, Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Vladimir Putin, have begun in Moscow, according to the Kremlin's website.
Welcoming the head of Turkmenistan, the leader of the Russian Federation said that in recent years cooperation between the countries has advanced and today they are not formally, but in fact strategic.
"We are very pleased that you are making your first state visit abroad to our country," Putin said. – This once again underlines the special nature of our relations.
The Russian President also called the growth of trade turnover between the countries for the first quarter of 2022 by more than 40% a serious move forward.
